Mara Purl, former Days of Our Lives actress and journalist for AP and Rolling Stone, will be at the bookshop indroducing her new novel What the Heart Knows.  This first installment of the The Milford-Haven series is a cozy, character-driven view of intersecting lives in a small, rural town.  Originally the inspiration for an award-winning BBC radio series; conflicts between oil company profits vs. environmental protection are still new, and Purl's theme of feeling with the heart vs. thinking with the mind is timeless.
